Bansko is the best and most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian ski resorts.
During the recent years a multi-million euros investment in a brand new skiing
area has been made. Bansko has the best snow record and the longest ski season
of all Bulgarian ski resorts. During the last couple of years this resort is under
a massive investment process with new hotels and resort facilities being under
construction making Bansko the perfect place to invest in Bulgarian property.
Bansko is also very attractive as a summer gateway to the close-by Pirin National
Park which is in the UNESCO World Heritage List and includes several Biosphere Reserves.
There are also mineral water springs in the near-by villages of Banya and
Dobrinishte jsust several km away, which adds to the appeal of Bansko as all-purpose,

- The Sofia-Bansko road is being renovated and is expected to be completed by the end of 2007;
- Over 500 000 tourists in 2006/7; the forecasted number of tourists for 2007/8 is 1 million;
- National Park Pirin is a UNESCO world heritage site;
- Millions in infrastructure development allocated for Bulgaria bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympics ;
- Capital growth forecast above 16% per anum.
Bansko has recently been voted Europe's most improved ski resort in the first
Great Skiing and Snowbarding Guide 2006 Awards.
