Bansko is the best and most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian ski resorts. During the recent years a multi-million euros investment in a brand new skiing area has been made. Bansko has the best snow record and the longest ski season of all Bulgarian ski resorts. During the last couple of years this resort is under a massive investment process with new hotels and resort facilities being under construction making Bansko the perfect place to invest in Bulgarian property. Bansko is also very attractive as a summer gateway to the close-by Pirin National Park which is in the UNESCO World Heritage List and includes several Biosphere Reserves. • Over 500 000 tourists in 2006/7; the forecasted number of tourists for 2007/8 is 1 million;
• National Park Pirin is a UNESCO world heritage site;
• Millions in infrastructure development allocated for Bulgaria bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympics ;
• Capital growth forecast above 16% per anum.
